Kira Capps (Owner)

Welcome to Tumble KATS. It's been a dream of mine to open Tumble KATS for a long time. Originally from UTAH, my love for the sport of cheerleading began at age 13 where I cheered in Jr. high and High School. My Senior year I cheered for 1 of the 2 all star programs in UTAH (back in the day) CHEERZ all star, coached by the famous Jason Jenke. After high school I continued cheering in college for 2 years. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah, and taught Math and Health at Herriman High School. I moved to Jerome in 2013, and taught at Jerome Middle School for 1 year, before "retiring" to raise my family. With 18 years experience coaching High School cheerleading (Jordan, Bingham, Herriman, Jerome) College of So Idaho Cheerleading Coach (4 years) Former NCA staff member (10 years), current head coach of Jerome High School (11th year), I've dedicated my life to inspiring young athletes. I have traveled all over the United States instructing cheerleading camps and training young athletes.
